Vision
Framingham Adult ESL Plus provides a unique opportunity for adult
learners to succeed in U.S. society. Our program offers a wide
range of services for every student, including ESOL, citizenship,
computer assisted learning, adult basic education, and High School
Equivalency. Advising is available whenever classes are in
session.
At Framingham Adult ESL Plus , students and teachers work
together to create activities, which are realistic, relevant, and
rewarding for all participants. In dynamic learning environments,
students strive towards English fluency, improved literacy skills,
economic empowerment, and civic involvement. Our common goal
is the development of skills that allow our students to integrate their
talents and energy into the life of the community and the country.
Goals
Each semester brings us three times as many student applications
as we can place in our classes. Our aim is to expand our services to:
- Include our waitlisted students
- Institute a “Newcomer’s Center”
- Expand our community education outreach
- Continue to develop affiliations with other educational and social service agencies
- Obtain permanent space
